The top two teams from the regular season, the top seeded Riverview Weed Man A's and the seconded seeded Hampton Coast Tire Indians will square off in League Championship round which will get underway Thursday night in Riverview. The A's earned a first round bye and then bested the Saint John Mets in the semi-finals while the Indians eliminated the Aquarius Dodgers in the opening round and then disposed of the Portland Pub Pete's in their semi-final match-up.
Game 1 of the final series is set for Thursday night at Harold Page Field in Riverview, game time will be 8:00pm. Game 2 will be in Hampton on Sunday afternoon, a 3:00pm start and Game 3 will be back at Harold Page Field on Tuesday night, August 25th at 8:00pm.
The starting pitchers for game 1 are expected to be Jon Loughery (5-0) for the A's and Shane Guptill (6-0) for the Indians.
