Bulldogs’ netminder Peter Mandoli has been on top of his game and was the Bulldogs best penalty killer in Game Two. He faced 63 shots in the marathon Game One and then 45 last night and is among the goalie leaders with a 3.88 goals against average and .917 save percentage. The 18-year-old stopper has the hot hand right now after unseating starter Andrew Braithwaite late in the regular season…Alex Nikiforuk is third overall in playoff scoring heading into tonight’s game. He has a pair of goals in each game so far, to go along with an assist he picked up in Game One. He’s tied for second in goal scoring (4) with Salmon Arm forward Adrian Viedeman. Chilliwack’s red-hot Jeff Tambellini leads the way so far with 5 goals after netting 4 in the Chiefs’ opening game against the expansion Coquitlam Express. Jamie Jeannotte is the only other Bulldog on the top 25 scoring list after two playoff games. He has a goal and two assists which he picked up in a fine performance in Game One…Defenseman Brent Gardipy, who had a pair of assists in the opening game, may be a game-time decision after taking a knee-on-knee hit last night. Not surprisingly there was no call on the play. The Bulldogs were assessed numerous questionable penalties in Game Two, while at least two blatant hits-from-behind on Burnaby players went uncalled during the second period.
