Men Improve to 4-1, while Women Go to 2-3

The Panthers welcomed the Miller Edge into their own gym last week to kick off their season set of matches.

The women's match kicked off the night in front of full house. The match started out seeing the Panthers get out to a quick start and not looking back. Palliser took the first set 25-14. Millar came out firing on all cylinders in the second set and responded with a 25-20 set win. The third set saw much of the same as the first set with Palliser getting out to a comfortable lead and not letting up. The Panthers took the third by a score of 25-13. The fourth set was the tightest set of the match but Palliser proved to be too strong on this night taking the fourt 25-22.

The men were looking to get back into a tie for first place with a win over Millar. The first set saw the Panthers win a sloppy set 25-19. The next two sets saw both teams committ their fair share of serving and hitting errors. The second and third sets were won by the Panthers by scores of 25-19 and 25-18. This now brings the Panthers into a tie for first with eight points after five matches.

Teams will both be in action on October 26th and 27th when all teams will be in Moose Jaw to compete against one another.
