Message from the LEAGUE PRESIDENT

It is my pleasure to be back as League President for the 2003-2004 season.

Congratulations to the Stony Plain Eagles on their run for the Allan Cup in Dundas, Ontario.,
winning the silver medals. You make us all proud and keep the Chinook Hockey League name a forerunner in National Senior Hockey. And also, congratulations to the Drayton Valley Wildcats in winning the gold medals in the Senior “B” Provincial playoffs.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest team in the league, THE FORT HOTEL CHIEFS. As we have such a closely-knit league, high-action, and competitive teams, I’m sure all of the teams, are with me, when I say, I hope you have a successful first season. Hoping to see some new rivalries start up with our new addition.

Again, I would like to thank all of the volunteers in each team’s organization. You are the
heart and soul of the teams, and our league wouldn’t be where it is today without all the hard-work,
support and time that you put in.

Good Luck to all teams in your pursuit of the League Championship for 2003-04, and for the provincial playoffs in Senior “A” and “B”. And also to the teams going “AAA” for a berth in the MacKenzie Cup against the BC “AAA” winner and on to the Allan Cup, to be played in St. Georges, Quebec in April of 2004.

Sincerely,
Ray Marsh,
President
