Western Canada Invitational - Vancouver, BC July 1-4, 2006 (Simon Fraser University & Capilano College)
Thanks to all the coaches, players and parents for making this final trip a success. Although it was just “across the pond” it felt like there were more logistics involved than with the Seattle Slamma Jamma trip. Everyone pitched in when asked to and more importantly when NOT asked to. Rooms were left in good order, the buses and vans were kept clean and oh yes, VIBA’s performances on the court were outstanding. Our teams were 19 – 11 overall. Not bad for our first full year of operation with this many teams. The coaches and directors of VIBA are looking forward to next year already.
