8. International Softball Congress (ISC) rules will be used in all games, unless otherwise noted.

9. Worth K Master 120 Fastpitch Cork Softball will be used in all games. Please note circumstances beyond the tournament committee's control may result in a substitute ball having to be implemented.

10. All game times are Pacific Daylight Time (PDT). A 15 minute grace period will be allowed before a game is forfeited for failure to take the field.

11. We ask for your cooperation by submitting your line up card to the press box at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time for each game. In the round robin games, home team will be determined by a coin toss. In the playoffs the higher seeded team (based upon the round robin) will be automatically designated the home team. The only exception being when the two 1st place finishers from the round robin face each other a coin toss will determine the home team.

12. No infield practices will be permitted prior to the start of each game.

13. Round robin games WILL HAVE A TIME LIMIT - no new inning will commence after 1 hour 45 minutes from the initial pitch. A new inning is deemed to commence immediately after the last out has been made in the preceding inning. In the round robin, if a game is tied after the completion of 7 innings or the time has elapsed, the international tiebreaker rule will take effect immediately. No time limit will be in effect for the playoffs, and the international tiebreaker rule will not be used in the playoffs until 9 innings have been completed.

14. A ten (10) run mercy rule will be in effect after 3 innings of play, as well as a seven (7) run mercy rule after 5 innings of play in the round robin and playoffs.

15. Each team will be able to list a maximum of 18 players on the line up card for their initial game of the tournament. The players listed will be the only individuals permitted to compete on behalf of the respective team for the duration of the event.

16. The following criteria will be used in seeding the teams at the conclusion of the modified round robin: (a) won / loss record (b) head to head competition if applicable (c) overall plus / minus (note: maximum run differential per game is 7) (d) overall fewest runs allowed (e) overall greater number of runs scored ** overall includes all round robin games played. (f) in the event that listed criteria a - e, does not resolve the tie, then a coin toss will be conducted.

17. Protests / Ejections When a protest is launched, play will be halted and the 2 team managers concerned, along with the umpires, will meet with a member of the tournament committee to review the matter. A ruling on the matter will be subsequently issued by the member of the tournament committee. This ruling will be final with regards to the tournament.
Any team member who conducts himself in an unsportsmanlike manner on or off the playing field, or causes incident or action unfavourable to the event may be removed for a period of time at the discretion of the tournament committee.

18. Complete uniforms are required for all players and base coaches. Players, coaches, managers, team trainer, team statistician and bat boy are the only personnel permitted in the dugouts.

19. No entry fees will be refunded, unless the event is completely rained out. The final game must be played for the prize money to be awarded, with the exception being the fields are declared unplayable due to inclement weather or conditions.

20. In the case, where a situation is not covered by the stated rules / guidelines, the tournament committee shall render a decision that will prevail
