Hobbies: In addition to playing and coaching hockey, I enjoy mountain biking and rollerblading. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family.
 
From Burnsville, she attended Burnsville H.S. Slominski was named Ms. Hockey Minnesota and all-state honors. slominski played for the Golden Gophers from 1998-2002 andserved as team captain in 2001-02 where she helped lead Minnesota to WCHA titles in 2001 and 2002, and a national AWCHA crown in 2000. She has participated in several USA Hockey Women’s national development camps and was on the USA Under-22 women’s hockey team in 1999-00. Slominski served as the head girls’ hockey coach at Bloomington Kennedy H.S. in 2004-05, prior to her tenure at Kennedy she served as an assistant coach for the women’s team program at St. Olaf College under head coach Tom Osiecki from 2002 -04. Slominski is a second year Minnesota Whitecap she has the honor of scoring the first goal in program history, Slominski also becomes the first Ms. Hockey winner to join the Division 1 coaching rank accepting a position at St. Cloud State last fall.
