With an exciting double OT 6-5 victory over the Six Nations Chiefs, the Victoria Shamrocks have evened up the 2014 Mann Cup going into the first break in the seven game series.
Rookie Chris Wardle scored his second of the game in in double OT to get the Shamrocks the win. Corey Small also scored twice while Rhys Duch and Karsen Leung had one each.
In net, Matt Flindell made 36 saves on 41 shots. The 'Rocks outshot the Chiefs with 46 shots through five periods.
