Heading into the play-offs, it's only right that all four WLA teams who will make a run for the leauge title are mentioned in this week's Lacrosse Talk Subway Naitonal Rankings.
Sitting in the #1 spot in the country are the 13-2-2 regular season champs, the Victoria Shamrocks. They've got one home game left in the regular season on Friday vs. the Nanaimo Timbermen. Starting August 7th, they'll play the Salmonbellies in the first round of the play-offs.
The Burnaby Lakers are ranked #3 in Canada thanks to their 11-6 record. After their final game of the season vs. the Coquitlam Adanacs on Friday, they'll move on to play the Burrards in their first round series.
The 9-7-1 Maple Ridge Burrards will play the Salmonbellies in their last game of the season on Thursday before begin their first play-off run since 2011. They're ranked #5.
Honourable mention this week went to the New Westminster Salmonbellies. The 'Bellies earned the fourth and final spot in the play-offs with a win over the Adanacs last Saturday. After one more regular season game vs. the Burrards, they'll take on the Shamrocks.
