Subway Rankings - July 2nd
- Submitted by
This week's Subway/LacrosseTalk National Rankings give mention to four WLA teams.

Sitting in first with their 8-1-2 season record are the Victoria Shamrocks. The 'Rocks had a 0-1-1 week last week, finishing in a 9-9 tie vs. the Burrards and suffering their first loss of the season at the hands of the Adanacs on Saturday night. This week, they host the Thunder on Friday night and face the Adanacs again on Saturday.

The Burnaby Lakers sit in fifth in the rankings after their 1-1 week with a 10-8 loss to the 'Bellies at home Friday and an 8-2 island victory vs. the Timbermen Sunday. They play one game this week at home on Friday vs. New West again.

A 1-1 week sees the Maple Ridge Burrards remain in sixth place on the charts. They earned a tie vs. Victoria on the road Friday and defeated the Timbermen 8-4 at home two days later. They'll take this week off, returning on Tuesday at home vs. the Adanacs.

An 8-6 win at home was enough to keep the Langley Thunder on the rankings this week. They sit in seventh spot after defeating the Salmonbellies last Wednesday. They get back in action Friday night as they kick off a two game island road trip facing the Shamrocks then traveling up island to play the Timbermen Saturday night.
