Davies, draft picks exchanged
- Submitted by
The Maple Ridge Burrards have entered into an agreement that trades the playing rights of Ben Davies to the Burnaby Lakers in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

The conditional draft pick is as follows:
  • If Ben Davies plays in the WLA in 2014, the Burrards will receive Burnaby's 3rd round pick in the 2015 draft.
  • If Ben Davies does not play in the WLA in 2014, the Burrards will receive Burnaby's 4th round pick in the 2015 draft.

The New Westminster Salmonbellies and Nanaimo Timbermen also determined the future considerations in their Draft Day trade.

The trade has been registered as follows:
New Westminster sends their 3rd round selection in 2015 to Nanaimo to complete the 2014 Draft Day trade for picks. This pick is the future considerations in the deal in which New West sent their 2014 5th and 12th overall selections to Nanaimo for their 2014 7th and 8th overall selections.
