Kings County Hockey League
MIDLAND VS SUSSEX FINALS

The finals are set as the defending champion Midland Aces and Sussex McGinnys Mooselights will play a rematch from last years final. They both swept their best of 5 semi-finals as Sussex beat Hampton and Midland beat Molsons. The 7 game series Finals are set to start Wednesday Febuary 20th at 8:15.

The matchup should be a good one as both teams finished 1-2 in the regular season and both have a good balance of youth and seasoned veterans up and down their lineups. Shane Guptil of Sussex and Adam Sherwood of Midland tied for the league scoring title while Ian Chamberlain & Dale Gray of Midland had the best goaltending statistics but Sussex's Darcy Baskin wasn't to far behind. Both teams dominated the scoring leaderboard also as Sussex had 3 in the top 8 and Midland had 4. Although Sussex had about 100 more penalty minutes with 263 they shared the lead for fighting majors with 10 a piece. Midland won all seven games they played each other in the regular season.
