Steve Cannady led the Big 8 in hitting his senior year, hitting .425, was All-Big 8, and has continued to support CU post graduation with yearly charitable contributions. Cannady was a product of Colorado treasure Irv Brown's tenure as Coach at CU, Coach Brown has also been an NCAA Official referreeing 6 Final Fours, Head of Officiating for 4 different conferences, ESPN color analyst, and analyst for the Nuggets and broncos.
