Ernie Truant Returns as WLA Commissioner
The Western Lacrosse Association Board of Governors are pleased to announce the appointment of Ernie Truant as league Commissioner.

Commissioner Truant first served as WLA Commissioner from 2009 to 2011. During the first two years of his tenure the New Westminster Salmonbellies reached the Mann Cup, hosting the Brampton Excelsiors then travelling to face the Peterborough Lakers. In Truant's final year the Langley Thunder made their first Mann Cup apperance in franchise history, winning the right to host the Brampton Excelsiors. Part of Truant's time away from the WLA was spent as league Commissioner for the WCSLA (West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association) in 2014.
