RIP Dave Pirog

It's with sadness that we acknowledge the passing of longtime WLA player, Dave Pirog. During his career in the league, he played with the Victoria Shamrocks and later with the New Westminster Salmonbellies while Commissioner Casey Cook was the General Manager.
Dave's contribution to lacrosse was lifelong. Most recently, he has been a member of the Delta Junior A Islanders organization for the last nine years, serving a number of roles including head coach.
Our most sincere condolences are with Dave's wife Jodi and their family at this time of such great loss. Dave's absence will certainly be felt across the lacrosse community.
