'Rocks lead Mann 2-1!

With their 12-11 OT victory on Monday night, the Victoria Shamrocks have taken a 2-1 lead in this year's Mann Cup series vs the Six Nations Chiefs.

With hat tricks from Corey Small and Rhys Duch, two goals from Dhane Smith and singles from Tyler Hass, Chris Wardle, Karsen Leung and the game winner from Scott Ranger, the 'Rocks earned their first lead in this seven-game series.

Goaltender Matt Filndell made 36 saves on 46 shots.

Corey Small was awarded the Shamrocks' Player of the Game.

Game three was the first in a three game stretch. The teams will play again Tuesday and Wednesday before their second break in the series on Thursday. All games can be viewed at www.webcastsports.net.
