Canada Cup - Adult Elite
Rexdale Clinches with Last Minute Goal
- Submitted by

Rexdale Lions FC deafeated the York Region Wolves 2-1 in a thrilling final, with Rexdale's Andrew Raso scoring  a short-handed game-winner with just 22 seconds left on the clock.

The gold is Rexdale's first, after a series of silver medals at the Canada Cup in recent years. The win also ended an improbable run for long-time Canada Cup supporters the York Region Wolves, who finished the round-robin winless before getting hot and reaching the finals.
