Saskatchewan 14 - 10 Manitoba (Bowl Semi-Final)

The U18 men will be going into their final day tomorrow, each with their final championship games. Here is the schedule for the championship rounds:
9am local time - Saskatchewan v PEI (9/10/11 playoffs)
9am local time - New Brunswick v Nova Scotia (7th place game)
10:15am local time - Newfoundland v Ontario 3 (Plate Final)
11:45am local time  - Alberta v Ontario 2 (3rd place game)
1pm local time - Quebec v BCII (Cup Final)

U18 Women

BC 38 - 0 Quebec
Ontario 12 - 0 Nova Scotia
Saskatchewan 48 - 0 Manitoba
Ontario 17 - 0 BC
Nova Scotia 17 - 7 Saskatchewan
Alberta 71 - 7 Manitoba

Having now played against all other teams, the U18 women will go into championship play. Teams were seeded based on their standings in the round-robin, with first and second place playing for the cup and so on. Here is the schedule for Sunday's championship rounds:

9am local time - Saskatchewan v Nova Scotia (Bowl Final)
10:15am local time  - Quebec v Alberta (3rd place game)
11:45am local time - British Columbia v Ontario (Cup Final)

U16 Men

Ontario II 45 - 26 Newfoundland
Quebec 55 - 5 New Brunswick
BC I 38 - 0 BC II
Alberta 28 - 15 Ontario

The local fans cheered on fervently as their U16 Alberta men progressed into the National final. Their victory over Ontario ensured at least a silver medal as they will now play for the championship. Meanwhile, BCI and BCII squared off for the other spot in the Cup Final, with BCI winning handedly. Here is the schedule for the final games:

9am local time - BCII v Ontario (3rd place game)
10:15am local time - Alberta v BC (Cup final)
10:15am local time - New Brunswick v Newfoundland (7th place game)
11:45am - Quebec v Ontario II (Bowl Final)


U16 Women

Ontario 61 - 10 Alberta (Friday August 8th)
BC 51 - 5 Alberta

U16 Women varies from the other divisions in that it is only a round-robin, with no playoff rounds. The Championship is still available to BC or Ontario depending on today's game. Ontario narrowly won the first enocunter between the teams but if BC can win, with a bonus point, they could still be named National Champions.
