In a move that has sent shockwaves through the music industry, Rappin Raddi has announced that he's coming out of retirement and will release a new CD that will be available in stores this Christmas. During the 1980's, Raddi was a hardcore rapper to be reckoned with, releasing many hit songs based on television shows of that time. Among his classic hits were The A-Team inspired "Pity the Fool", "Midget Love Slave" based on Fantasy Island, and of course no list would be complete without mentioning his biggest, and most controversial, hit "Smurf me in my Smurf", obviously inspired by The Smurfs. He then decided to retire and try his luck with a baseball career, but stalled at Double-A ball in a move that paved the way for Micheal Jordan to try a similar career change.

If samples of his current record are any indication, he's bringing his controversial take-no-prisoners approach into the new century for a whole new generation of rap fans. Take a look at some of the lyrical snippets from a couple of his new songs that were provided to us at his press conference:

From song #2 called 'Clubhouse Rap':"I got more rhymes than a baseball HAT, drink da beer quickly else it's gonna go FLAT. Wiggie wiggie scratch yo yo bang bang, me an Chetan gonna stretch you like Peewee's wang"

From song #12 called 'Grammar Lesson':"Remember I before E except after C... motherf***ers! If I see a sentence start without a capital letter, your blood's gonna make my floor get wetter"

It appears that Raddi has not lost his ability to "spit hot fire", but has tempered it to spread a message to his listeners while entertaining them with the hardcore rap they expect from him. "I went out on top, but after seeing the state of rap music these days, I felt I had to come back and lead the way once again. And to my fans who might be worried that I've gone soft, don't worry, I'm still the baddest motherf***er in da game and the fire I spit from my mouth is hotter than ever. I f***ing represent", said Raddi before leaving in his pimped out stretch limo Escalade.
