• The Top Cats secured a spot in the Gold division finals last Wednesday, after the #4 Les Zambronis forfeited their semifinals matchup. During the regular season, the Top Cats were the top dog in the Gold division, registering seven wins and a division-high 41 goals. They also feature four of the division’s top-five point getters.

• The Chiefs are no stranger to Sportime’s dek finals, and will get another chance to compete for a title this week. The Chiefs earned their championship round appearance, after defeating  #2 EZ2-4U in the semifinals. The Chiefs began the series with a 4-1 win on Friday night, in which Rich Tynan led the way with two goals. On Sunday, the Chiefs completed the two-game sweep, with a 3-2 victory. Ron Kohler had a notable effort, stopping 22 of 24 shots.
