I've seen many things in my storied career, but none so majestic as Yehuda's pinch-hit, full count, 2-run, coup de grace homer over the rightfielder's head, off Gadi nonetheless! It was a storybook end to one of our better games in recent memory. Shimshon was missing 3 starters, but so were we.

I've seen and experienced many strange and contradictory things in my six years in the Promised Land, but nothing as surreal as what happened last night at my softball game.

I play centerfield for Tom's Texas Twisters (we used to be called the Shomrat Cubs because our home field is at Kibbutz Shomrat, but our sponsor this year is Tom, and he was born in Texas).
