As a condition of acceptance, travel teams will be required to register and stay at a Greater Victoria Midget Hockey Classic approved hotel.

Tournament Format:
Tier 1 and Tier 2 combined
Five Games - 8 team or 12 team format
Games played at three or four local arenas, all within 15 km
Awards Banquet :
Included in registration cost. Event details TBA
(Skills competition is also possible depending on available ice time)
Registration:
Tournament fee for 2019: $1750.
Security deposits of $500 must accompany the tournament application and will be returned if your application is not accepted.

LIABILITY WAIVER / ACCEPTANCE OF TRAVEL TEAM HOTEL AGREEMENT: It is understood that in acceptance of
our team in the Greater Victoria Midget Hockey Classic Tournament, it is agreed that the tournament sponsors and GVMHC Host
Teams assume no legal liability for injuries or loss. Travel teams also hereby agree to register and stay at a GVMHC Tournament sanctioned hotel.

The GVMHC is also known as the VIC HOCKEY CLASSIC and is operated through a partnership of alumni hockey parents – long ago retired – and local minor hockey associations. This is the 16th year we have operated the tournament and we hope to add a few wrinkles again this year to make the event an enjoyable and competitive experience for 15 to 17 year old hockey players.
