This summer the New York Rangers are proud to partner with the Wonderland of Ice in Bridgeport, CT to offer the New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp. The program will be held from August 16-20, 2010 and is open to all youth players between the ages of 7-14. As always, we are excited to provide the very best in hockey instruction and off-ice activities to our campers! Join us for top-level instruction from professional coaches, trainers, scouts, and others, as well as special guest appearances by current and/or former Rangers players.

Dates
Week of August 16-20, 2010
Camp registration fee, as listed below, covers one (1) weekly session.
Times
Each daily schedule will run from approximately 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Specific camp and pick-up/drop-off schedules will be provided as part of the Camper Itinerary Packet.
Camp will be hosted at the Rangers official partner facility, Wonderland of Ice, in Bridgeport, CT. Address and directions will be provided as part of the Camper Itinerary Packet.
Age
The 6th Annual New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp is for players between the ages 7 and 15 years (birth years 1995 – 2002).
Skill
Players must possess basic hockey skills such as skating and stick handling. Camp instructors will focus on developing the skills of beginner level players, while improving those of intermediate – advanced level players.
· Top-level instruction from professional coaches, alumni, trainers, scouts, and others.
· Appearances by current and/or former Rangers players*
· Official New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp equipment bag
· Official camp jersey and t-shirt
· Certificate of Achievement at the end of the camp

Optional Benefits:
Lunch – Campers are required to bring their own lunch with them each day. Lunch is not available or provided through the camp.
The New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp is run by dedicated, knowledgeable, and hockey-skilled staff members whose first priority is to provide campers with the most exciting and beneficial experience of any camp in the area.
· Current & former Rangers players will be scheduled to make special appearances, based on their availability.
In addition, various members of the Rangers coaching and training staff will host activities and be involved in the development of the daily on and off ice curriculum.
Full hockey equipment is required. All campers are required to bring their own equipment and off-ice workout gear (shorts, sneakers and t-shirt). No equipment of any kind will be provided to campers during the camp, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please be aware that the MSG Training Center does not contain a Pro-Shop of any kind. Should a camper not have any of the required equipment on any given day, that camper will not be able to participate in those respective activities.
Registration Fee - $495
Fee covers one-week of camp and all items listed in ‘Benefits’ section above.
· Please complete the attached Camp Pre-Registration Form in its entirety and email it to junior.rangers@thegarden.com or fax to (212) 465-6549.
· Please be sure to include the required $100 deposit with your registration form.
· IMPORTANT: Because roster space is extremely limited, registration among pre-registered campers will be handled on a first-come first-served basis. Refunds of the deposit will not be granted.
Payment of Fee
· Payment of your total balance, less your $100 deposit must be received no later than July 1, 2010.
· Payments will be accepted via credit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover), or business or personal check. Please note that there will be a $25 fee for all returned checks.
· Checks should be made payable to: New York Rangers
Camp Packet
Upon receipt of camper’s application and payment, camper will then receive a camp packet that will include additional instructions, a Waiver and Release form, a Medical form, a Parental Contact form and directions to the MSG Training Center. ALL forms MUST be completed and returned to the New York Rangers no later than July 1, 2010. Please note that a physician must complete the Medical Form. Campers will NOT be allowed to participate without submitting these forms, no exceptions. Please allow a minimum of two weeks between submission of application and receipt of camp packet.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
· The $100 camp deposit is non-refundable.
· If payment of remaining balance is not received by July 1, 2010, the camper’s roster space and deposit will automatically be forfeited.
· No refunds will be given once camp has begun, unless camper cannot continue to attend due to injury or illness and withdrawal is accompanied by a doctor’s note. In such case, refunds will be based on number of days attended and remaining.
The New York Rangers reserve the right to cancel the camp for any reason at anytime. In the event that camp activities are cancelled, all fees will be refunded in the same manner as they were received.
