The Milton Minor Hockey Association three levels of hockey - House League, Select & Rep.

House League Hockey:
Provides an opportunity for fun and physical exercise in a team environment. Emphasis is on improving skills, learning rules of the game and fair play.

Players participate in practices at the start of the season so that we are able to make sure teams are balanced and then the season begins about two weeks later. Teams typically practice once a week and play once a week.

The MMHA does reserve the right to make changes as necessary with ice times.

Divisions and Ages
This is a list of the house league divisions and the corresponding age of the players. The age would be as of the Dec 31st in the year the season starts. For example ... Zoey turns 5 on Dec 20, 2012, therefore when she registers in July 2012 for the 2012-2013 season, she will play in the Timbits (Mites) level.

Beginners (or Initiation) - 4
Timbits (or Mites) - 5 & 6
Tykes - 7
Novice - 8
Atom - Minor 9 & Major 10
Pewee - Minor 11 & Major 12
Bantam - Minor 13 & Major 14
Midget - Minor 15 & Major 16
Senior - 17 to 19

Volunteers

The Milton Minor Hockey Association is a volunteer based organization which operates successfully because of the dedicated contributions of our parent volunteers who not only coach and manage our teams, but also manage and operate the Association and it's activities throughout the year.
