The Mainland Hockey Tournament will consist of teams registered by division; they will seed their team by skill level when registering their team ( AA, A), teams may change their seed at any time up to March 24, 2018.

Teams will be placed into preliminary pools of 4 teams each and will play 3 games within their pool to establish performance standings.

After the 3rd game teams are rated by all teams in their seed (skill) group and re-pooled in groups of 4 based on performance standings, each division may have up to 6 pools for the semi final games, winners of each pool will progress to a 5th game final playoff in your pool.
