The first UMLeagues sport, was the University of Manitoba Winter Hockey League, as it was known then. Now, the UMHL is entering its 22 season with all games played at the Wayne Flemming Arena, in the Max Bell Centre. The UMHL is an adult men's recreational, non-contact ice hockey league. The season consists of 3 divisions,  20 games plus a double elimination playoffs with games played on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
